Our stainless steel containers include not only storage containers and discharge containers but also a product called pressure vessels. A pressure vessel refers to a container designed to hold pressure within it. In addition to stainless steel containers for normal pressure, we manufacture small-capacity pressure vessels, mainly ranging from 1L to 200L, used in factories and laboratories. Since these are so-called "industrial pressure vessels," they are rarely seen in everyday life, and it can be difficult to understand their purpose just by looking at the product. This document will explain the specific purposes for which pressure vessels are used, based on examples of products we have manufactured in the past.

We would like to introduce a case study of an in-house manufactured tank that we handled. We undertook the entire process from tank installation planning to manufacturing, installation, and piping work for a customer in Yamanashi Prefecture. Using a 3D laser scanner, we conducted on-site measurements and created a tank installation plan for proposal. Since there was ample installation space this time, we were able to make various suggestions. We are troubled because the results remain the same even after torque management and re-tightening. ↓ ■ Proposal Content ■ Upon calculating the full-face flange, it was found that the total cross-sectional area of the bolts was insufficient compared to the required total cross-sectional area. - Changed bolt classification from 4.8 to 8.8 - Changed gasket thickness from 1.5mm to 3mm to reduce necessary torque ↓ ■ After Improvement ■ Leakage stopped and the issue was resolved.
